Quesada Cigars
Run by two sisters, Patricia and Raquel Quesada, the Quesada family has been in the tobacco industry for over a century. When they first arrived in Cuba from Spain, they were bakers. It was in the late 1800s that they began their tobacco business when a debt owed to the family was paid with tobacco. In 1929, while searching for new and diverse tobaccos, the Quesada family arrived in the Dominican Republic, although the company remained based in Havana until the 1960s.
Their highest accolade is the No.1 Cigar of the Year award from Cigar Aficionado in 2008.
