Since 2004, Cigar Aficionado magazine has compiled an annual ranking of the Top 25 cigars. A dominant 80% of the cigars that have clinched the top spot hail from ‘New World’ countries (Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico), underscoring a shift in the epicentre of quality cigar manufacturing.
