Originally released at the end of 2016, the My Father The Judge Grand Robusto was named Cigar Journal’s No.1 Cigar of 2017.
Today, with an incredible score of 98 points, it’s not a coincidence that it has also won the prestigious accolade as No.1 Cigar of 2024 by Cigar Aficionado.
The Judge features three different Nicaraguan fillers, all grown on Garcia family farms as well as Corojo and Criollo binders and is finished with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. This full bodied cigar starts off slightly salty, with interesting woody and almond tones. It is unbelievably smooth, nutty, delicately acidic and develops subtle notes of anise, coffee and bread in the very creamy smoke texture.
